Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!

Wow! This year has gone so fast, in fact they seem to be going faster and faster as I get older.

So much has happened this year at The Dentist, I think it's worth re-capping as we have so much to be thankful for this year!

In March, we welcomed the wonderful Dr Catherine Anne Walsh. I think you will all agree that she has fitted into our practice so well and is a real pleasure to know and to have around.

In July, The Dentist blog first appeared in the Wellbeing Magazines' blog, in our own category "Teeth Talk with Tijana Fisher". We have been contributing weekly articles since then.

August was busy for us. First we said 'goodbye' to Raylene, who is now doing great in her home-based business and continues to supply us with wonderful lipbalms.

Then we conducted our first ever survey, which was amazingly successful and a great insight into our clients' thoughts and wishes.

Also in August, we welcomed the 'force of nature' that is Bree Cooper, our new Practice Coordinator. Most of you have had some contact with Bree by now, so you know you simply cannot help but smile when she is around.

This weekend, the staff and I are super excited to be having our Christmas party. We are looking forward to some girly pampering and then dinner with our partners. This year it will be a 10 person 'Dentist family' at our dinner table and what fun that will be!

From all of us at The Dentist, we hope you all have a nice break in the holiday season and we wish you a prosperous, fun and peaceful year ahead.

Our holiday dates

The Dentist are taking a well deserved break during the Christmas holiday season.

Our practice will be closed from 5pm on Thursday, 22nd December 2011 until 8am on Monday, 9th January 2012.

Health fund 'rollover' time- use it or lose it!

If your health fund entitlements 'roll over' at the end of each calendar year and you have missed your preventative care appointment or still have some outstanding treatment, now may be the time to come and see us and claim the remaining entitlements on your dental cover.

What you don't use during the calendar year re-sets at the beginning of the year, so you may miss out on valuable rebates.

There are still some appointments available before Christmas, so give us a call on (02) 92326367 to schedule one today.

Taking a summer holiday?

We wish all of you who are travelling during the summer break a wonderful time away. We are looking forward to hearing stories from the New York City New Year's Eve Fun Run and many other great destinations!
